After successfully launching at the Judith Wright Centre last month,
Street Food Australia's first bespoke bicycle food cart has hit the streets of Brisbane.
Serving steaming hot dumplings from their custom-built bike, you'll find Street Food Australia set up across from the Treasury Casino on William Street in the city on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; from 11am to 2pm. On Fridays, they dish up dumplings until 8pm.
Choose from the following fabulous flavours: chicken, donggu mushroom and five spice or pork, ginger and chives. Vegetarians are catered for too with tofu, shitake mushroom, cabbage and five spice dumplings. These yummy morsels of deliciousness cost $2 each, 4 for $6, or 8 for $10. I recommend a good lashing of their roasted black bean and chilli sauce with your dumplings. Light soya sauce is also available.
Street Food Australia can also be found in other locations from time to time, such as the
Southside Tea Room in Morningside or the Globe Theatre in Fortitude Valley. Follow them on
Facebook to find out where they'll be popping up next.
