Footscray is known for its upcoming innovative cultural and art scene, great restaurants and a large multi-cultural population. From May 2-5 this western suburb will come alive with a festival celebrating its diversity, community and the arts. On May the 5th 2018, the culmination of this 3-day event Emerge in the West will transform Nicholson Street into a buzzing, exciting Street Festival space. The Street Festival is a free, family friendly event that will once again showcase up and coming artists, musicians, dancers and entertainers.

Restaurants and local traders will be offering special treats to ensure festival goers get to try the exciting cuisine of the West. So come along to see the cultural diversity and the fun of this festival - you will be surprised!
