Strawberry Festival at Sandstone Point

The first annual Hotel will be held on Saturday, September 19th from midday at the Hotel. Entry is free and there are activities for all the family.



It is the height of the local strawberry season, and there will be many varieties of foods and drinks for the strawberry lovers – strawberry cocktails, strawberry cider, strawberry milkshakes, strawberries and champagne and chocolate coated strawberries. There will be stalls to buy strawberries in support of local farmers.
There are strawberry festivals in other parts of the state, but this is the first in this area, which produces some 40% of the Queensland strawberry harvest.

Children are catered for with a range of activities including rides, and live entertainment for all.

At the end of the day's festivities, there will be a Fireworks Finale.
