The fourth annual Strawberry Festival is all about celebrating the berry-liciousness of Mother Nature's sweet little temptations, the strawberry.
I'm not sure if locals realise this, but more than forty percent of Queensland's strawberries come from the Moreton Bay Region, so celebrating the Strawberry Festival at a local icon, namely, the Sandstone Point Hotel, makes strawbfully good sense to me.
The family-friendly Strawberry Festival is all about celebrating the local strawberry industry, one of the biggest farming industries in Queensland. And, if you haven't been to pick your own strawberries yet this season, the Strawberry Festival 2018 will definitely get you in the berry best mood to take advantage of local farmers' offers.
The Strawberry Festival will be jam-packed with strawberry-themed fun; family entertainment and live music. Look out for the increasingly popular Strawberry Patch Bar that whips up strawbfully good, strawberry-based drinks.
Parking is available at the Sandstone Point Hotel. The organisers request that visitors to the Strawberry Festival please factor the possibility of traffic congestion into travel time, especially along Bribie Island Road. A suggested detour is to drive along Beachmere Road and back up Peel Road onto Bribie Island Road, then turn left at the roundabout onto Bestmann Road through Ningi.
Sandstone Point Hotel is berry excited to welcome families to the berrylicious strawberry festivities at the 2018 Strawberry Festival.
Bookmark the date people, we're going to have a berry, berry nice time.
