is located on the corner of Gympie and South Pine Roads in the midst of
Strathpine Train Station , the
Pine Rivers Visitor Information Centre and the
Moreton Bay Regional Council's Strathpine Customer Service Centre . is one of many libraries under the banner of the
Moreton Bay Regional Council and is
not just a place for books. Search the web, play internet games, borrow CDs and DVDs, discover the eLibrary, listen in at story time, watch movie screenings and learn helpful computer skills.
hosts weekly scheduled classes and things to do as well as one-off events, talks or screenings. Here's what you can count on every week at the Strathpine Library:
Tuesday:
Every Tuesday from 6:30pm-7pm is
Pyjama Storytime at the Strathpine Library. Bring your kids to the library in their PJs for stories, action rhymes and sing-alongs.
Wednesday:
From 9:30am-10am every Wednesday
Baby Rhyme Time is on. Enjoy songs, finger plays and rhymes with your baby while developing their language and pre-reading skills. Meet other mums and dads in these fun, interactive sessions.
Thursday:
Thursday means stories, songs and games. From 9:30am-10am every Thursday your child can participate or listen in on
story time . There are sing-songs, fairy tales and other children's books to choose from and parents can stay and interact with their children as well.

As the Strathpine Library is operated by the Moreton Bay Regional Council there are some activities and learning opportunities open to it that are available across all of the libraries in the region (and the council's library webpage). Some of these are

Book Clubs and
online tutorials . The Moreton Bay Region Libraries
site allows users to access information on all library events and activities. The site has a catalogue search function, a list of
local authors and an interlibrary loan request function among other things.
provides the option of self-service convenience, allowing you to scan your books in and out. With a Kids Corner, study desks and rows of computers you can be assured that there's a space for everyone. hosts a
School Holiday Program as well as the classes and activities mentioned above. Remember, libraries aren't
just about books.
