Not Just For Books
The Strathpine Library is located on the corner of Gympie and South Pine Roads in the midst of Strathpine Train Station, the Pine Rivers Visitor Information Centre and the Moreton Bay Regional Council's Strathpine Customer Service Centre. The Strathpine Library is one of many libraries under the banner of the Moreton Bay Regional Council and is not just a place for books. Search the web, play internet games, borrow CDs and DVDs, discover the eLibrary, listen in at story time, watch movie screenings and learn helpful computer skills.

The Strathpine Library hosts weekly scheduled classes and things to do as well as one-off events, talks or screenings. Here's what you can count on every week at the Strathpine Library:

Tuesday:
Every Tuesday from 6:30pm-7pm is Pyjama Storytime at the Strathpine Library. Bring your kids to the library in their PJs for stories, action rhymes and sing-alongs.

As the Strathpine Library is operated by the Moreton Bay Regional Council there are some activities and learning opportunities open to it that are available across all of the libraries in the region (and the council's library webpage). Some of these are Homework Help, Book Clubs and online tutorials. The Moreton Bay Region Libraries site allows users to access information on all library events and activities. The site has a catalogue search function, a list of local authors and an interlibrary loan request function among other things.

The Strathpine Library provides the option of self-service convenience, allowing you to scan your books in and out. With a Kids Corner, study desks and rows of computers you can be assured that there's a space for everyone. The Strathpine Library hosts a School Holiday Program as well as the classes and activities mentioned above. Remember, libraries aren't just about books.
