Looking for a new burger joint? Looking for somewhere to hide away for a long lunch break? My response: listen to that inner beast in you and sniff your way to a dungeon in a small, dark alleyway (literally, a small dark alleyway).
Located on Strachan Lane, a flight of stairs down to the basement will lead you a dimly lit underground bar. It's slick, minimalist and simple. Strange Wolf specialises in burgers and it is a place to grab a cider or two. There's a limited selection of burgers and drinks on the menu but if you look at it in a different light, they're mastering their signature burger - the Wolf burger served with a cone of fries and a shotglass of tomato sauce. Beautiful presentation, excellent proportions, cooked to perfection, good value of money (the Wolf, $12).
