The show started with a stab at Pauline Hanson and the jokes, and laughter, kept rolling from there. Individual sets were interspersed with group skits, songs, and videos, which showed the individual styles and talents of George Kapiniaris, Joe Avati, Tahir and Rob Shehadie, as well as how good they work together as an ensemble. Clearly these guys enjoy their work and occasionally they couldn't contain their laughter at themselves. This certainly didn't distract from the performance, as the audience was happily laughing along with them.
The jokes were at times political (who can resist laughing at Trump?), sometimes racially charged, and bordering on controversial but the crowd was laughing along heartily, so clearly these guys know their audience and what works for them. Tahir and Rob encouraged the most audience participation, and did well with the audience's responses.
If you enjoyed Fat Pizza, Here Comes The Habibs, etc, head along to The Ark, you will surely have a great night out. If these shows weren't your thing, you should probably give this one a miss.
