An offbeat gem - don't miss it

Meet Ben. Ben is a 26-year old investment banker. Ben likes beer, sports and Emily ... and Chris.

New Farm Nash Theatre is proudly presenting a limited season of Straight, a must-see provocative, highly involving play, brimming with clever wisecracks!

Written by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola and directed by Phil Carney, Straight raises a lot of questions about labels in today's society, but with a last-minute plot twist, you may need to expect the unexpected!

In this engaging three-character drama, Ben, Emily and Chris explore fidelity, identity and the moral complexity of a generation that prides itself on the pretence of acceptance.

Straight very much reflects the 21st-century world and the conflicts, confusion and choices of a man struggling with his sexuality.

Society poses many questions but none more hitting then questions that involve one's personal self, the way one behaves and the people that we love.

Funny, sad, sexy and surprising, expect to laugh and cry. Straight is an offbeat gem - don't miss it.
