Time for the adults to play whilst the kids are at school
The little people are back at school and the days remain long and sunny. You know what that means? Time to spoil yourself with a day trip to the beautiful North Stradbroke Island, or Minjerribah to the traditional owners - the Quandamooka People.

Imagine it. A lazy ride on the ferry across beautiful Moreton Bay watching for dolphins, turtles and dugongs and even the occasional sea eagle. Arriving at Dunwich (Goompi), the cultural heart of the island after the sixty minute ferry trip, you have so many options on how to spend your day.

Sealink South East Queensland is offering a great deal to encourage Brisbanites a day experiencing the rugged beauty of North Stradbroke Island.

The deal includes :
return vehicle ferry transfer for a standard car
lunch for two people

There are Conditions of Travel:

Valid Monday - Thursday
Depart Cleveland between 9am and 12pm
Return same day only
Choice of one meal per person
Bookings essential

Lunch can be enjoyed at a local hotel or cafe and for further details about the venues and menus go here.

This deal lasts until Wednesday 31st of March and starts from $135.00.

Don't think there is enough to do on Straddie if you're not a surfie type? Wrong!

The Historical Museum and Cemetery at Dunwich both provide a fascinating insight into the early days of the Island and the Gorge Walk at Point Lookout is Bucket List worthy.

Of course, there is nothing bad about losing a day walking the beach or having a swim. American artist and conservationist, Robert Wyland, summed it up perfectly when he said " The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul".

To book ring, Sealink South East Queensland on 07 3488 5300. Payment in full is required at the time of booking.
