It is time for story time again. It is time for the Story Telling Festival in City of Glen Eira. From 22 June to 9 July Glen Eira opens the doors of its various locations, facilities, buildings and centres to host a wide variety of literary events. This year there will be events for all tastes and ages, from kids' story times at the libraries to writing workshops for inspiring writers.

Do not miss this festival as the program promises to be interesting and exciting. There will be tours of the Town Hall, art exhibitions and interactive events for kids and adults.
Please make sure you find the time to attend the Migrants and Memories: Melbourne Yiddish Writers of the 30s-50s event at Glen Eira Town Hall on 2nd July at 5 pm.

This is a FREE event organised by The Kadimah Jewish Cultural Centre and National Library will showcase Melbourne Jewish Writers of the pre-War an post-War period. There will be music, poetry and prose readings. Some of the names, including Melech Ravitch, Herz Bergner, Pinchas Goldhar, Y. Rapaport, Moishe Ajzenbud and poets Avram Cykiert and Dobke Apelowicz, will be brought alive through their works translated into English and memories of those who knew them.
