Event:
Stories on Stage, otherwise known at Spineless Wonders: "A short evening of tall stories. Enjoy the simple pleasure of being read to" - Spineless Wonders.

Every few months the Wheatsheaf Hotel play host to a gathering of award winning professional Australian writers, actors and a musician or two.

There are no costumes, no special effects or props. All that is on stage is the story and the actor.

It's a fabulous, entertaining night out.

Spineless Wonders are an Australian publishing company who love brief "spineless" fiction. The stories are spineless because they're delivered in a digital format - perfect for busy people on the move.

Adelaide short story lovers are lucky to also be treated to live performances, organised by writer and curator Caroline Reid.

So, grab a glass of your favourite drink, sit back, relax and enjoy this fabulous night out at the Wheaty!

Can thoroughly recommend this. A wonderful and quite eclectic night out. But you have to go with an open mind. Do that, and you will be completely entertained. Good article; great photos.
