Stories on Stage is celebrating its 10th year and has gained a reputation as a worthy literary event in Perth's southern suburbs. This year, an exciting line-up of local and eastern states authors is on the program.
On April 6, West Australian authors
Michael Trant and Karen Herbert will share the stage. Expect a thrilling conversation about their edgy new releases, writing processes and more.
Much-loved former
The West Australian columnist
Ros Thomas returns to the stage on June 15, this time talking about her debut novel,
How to Shame the Devil. What made her move from non-fiction to fiction? We'll find out in this conversation.
Sydney-based author Pamela Hart will join the conversation on August 3. This multi-talented, multi-genre author will chat about her new mystery series featuring the lively TV researcher Poppy McGowan, as well as writing historical fiction.
But wait ... there's another August event!
Eastern states authors Maya Linnell and Fiona Lowe are coming to the Romance Writers of Australia conference in Fremantle in August and will join the Stories on Stage conversation on August 10.
Maya and Fiona will chat about their latest releases, writing contemporary fiction, and the benefits of being part of a large writing community in this special panel discussion.
Each event includes an in-conversation, Q & A session, book sales and signings, and supper. Bring your questions, friends and smiles, and soak up the bookish atmosphere.
Stories on Stage starts at 7pm in Theatre 2.
Tickets cost $15, which includes supper. The bar will be open.
