Don't get mad get organised
Don't get mad get organised is a motto that comes in handy when faced with holiday and travel extravagances that just won't go away. It's also what the Store the Storage Superstore advocates and so I thought I'd take a look see at what they've got. I visited their store in South Morang and came away with quite a few solutions.

The Store stocks all sorts of storage options in wood, chrome, stainless steel, wicker, and some plastic. They have separate sections for the bathroom, kitchen, pantry, laundry, wardrobe, and even the home office. They have cute solutions for pets and for kids. This is not a place you can rush in and get out in a hurry. It's a large store with plenty to browse through and you might even lose track of time as you get going.

They have shelving systems that can be put together in your laundry or wardrobe to manage your clothes. With height adjustments possible you can add and take away shelves to suit your purpose. You will also find trendy shelves to hold magazines or can be arranged into tidy show cases in your living spaces.

There's an entire section on home office supplies including filing boxes, folders, notepads, and stationery that will encourage you to hunker down and do your thing if you're lucky enough to be working from home. Stuff comes in paper, plastic, and wood and can be co-ordinated to suit your tastes.

Kitchen accessories come in all sizes and you can even learn a few new things while you're here. Cores, peelers, slicers, graters, crust-cutters, shredders, choppers, you name it they have it—in various types and colours. Moving on from these pocket-size machinery you come to the poachers, colanders, flasks, jars, mug tree holders, serviette holders and a gazillion other things that make you wonder how you managed without them this far.

Bathroom accessories make you want to convert your living room into a gigantic bathroom just so you can stock it with all of those funky stands, canisters, racks, and more. Waste bins that don't look like waste bins and loo paper holders that don't look like loo paper holders will certainly encourage this train of thought. I didn't really want to get caught up in this line of thinking and so reluctantly moved on to the next aisle.

They really aren't kidding when they claim to be the superstore for organising. They've even got handbag organisers—in small and medium sizes. If you're one of those girls who can never find their key and are convinced there's a monster in there that eats it and then spits it out when somebody else looks for it, you might want to check this out. Jewellery organisers are another useful item that I've earmarked for a future visit. I particularly liked the tiny umbrella shaped ring-holder.

Large hat boxes and shoe organisers, a wide variety of hangers from wooden to sateen ones, hooks and over the door options, drawer organisers, space bags and much more makes it look like they really have thought of everything. There is even a compost bin that looks like anything but. It was really tempting to get me one of these pretty bin, but let's face it, I've no idea what to do with it.

Kid's room accessories come in bright shades and handy sizes. There are boxes to put away toys, shoe racks for tiny sizes, and plastic boxes for other storage. Whether it's back to school or back home again, there's a whole lot of things you could pick up if you're intending to tidy up the kid's rooms. Pet lovers have a section all to themselves filled with dog food containers and cat food storage items in various colours and sizes.

Under the bed storage options come in wicker and hardboard and in varying sizes too. Corner shelves and stacking shelves encourage you to think in new ways when it comes to organising stuff. The best thing about this place is that it is devoted to storage for every part of your home. Just make sure you come with the right measurements and a clear idea of what you want to store and where. If not, you're going to be a mess of confusion and desire not knowing what it is you really need. Take it from someone who's been there.
