The Stonnington City Council have come to the party and are really invested in putting the festivities into Christmas with 12 Days of Christmas . It's going to be a series of Christmas experiences for everyone held at Prahran Square (Cato St, Prahran) and Central Park Malvern (148 Burke Rd, Malvern East) from Monday 13 December to Friday 24 December 2021. Both the Square and the Park will be transformed into a vibrant Christmas wonderland for you to enjoy with family or friends, or even on your own.

For 10 days from 15-24 Dec, Central Park will be home to an Insta-worthy series of neon characters on display for ten days of ' Summer Lights and Christmas Brights '. Venture through the gardens with your family and friends and discover these fun and playful installations, lighting up the gardens from dusk.

Over 12 nights from 13-24 Dec, Prahran Square will host the 'Sights and Sounds of Christmas' - a vibrant installation where lights, colours and sounds will illuminate the iconic Square and stunning Christmas tree. From pet portraits and craft workshops to live jazz music and a silent disco, there's something for the whole family!

Take the kids for story time in the morning at the Square (Prahran Square) or just pop by in the afternoon for some classy Christmas tunes from the Square's Pop-Up Piano . The kids would probably love that too. Nighttime is when the Square really comes alive with a magical light and sound display .

Can you imagine a silent disco out in the open at the Square? Well, it's happening. There's even going to be a Bandwagon with a Swingin' Festive pop-up to jazz up your Christmas with live music by some of Melbourne's best jazz musos playing on the back of a vintage ute. What about a Christmas Pantomime ? This one requires booking, so be sure to scour the program to make sure you're booked into all that needs bookings. Your pooches have not been forgotten either, so be sure to check the Santa Paws event. This also needs registration as does the Christmas Badges Workshop .
