Stonnington City Council will be presenting a free sustainability-focused, family-friendly film series in January 2021. They'll take place over 4 weekends at Malvern Gardens and Central Park. There'll be complementary elements alongside the film screenings like garden tours, free bike health checks, demonstrations and more.

As it's sustainability-related, do bring your waste free picnic to share with loved ones. Share a pic of your w.f. picnic on social media with the hashtag #GreenScreenPicnic to go into the running for a Naked Foods or Organically Grown voucher. Winners will be announced Monday 31 January.

There are films to ignite your imagination, alongside well-loved classics. Find the full program of films here . Cycle to the event and get a free bike health check with Bike It Better , from 4.30pm. You can also stock up on locally made eco-friendly goods with Roving Refills . You can use clean containers of any size or shape.

Sun 23 Jan 7.30-9.11pm - The Hidden Life of Trees at Malvern Gardens - Your eyes will be opened to the hidden world of the woods. Find out if trees can talk; if they have a memory, or a social life.

Sun 30 Jan 5.30-6.56pm - Dr Seuss' The Lorax at Central Park - A young boy wants to win the girl of his dreams but first he must discover the story of the Lorax.

Sun 30 Jan 7.30-9.02pm at Central Park - 2040 - A father concerned about his daughter's future, takes him on a journey in search of new approaches and solutions to climate change.

Keep in mind other activities will be available from 4.30pm when the gates open.
