Spend a leisurely Sunday visiting artist's homes & studios

Each year, a group of local talented artists residing in the City of Stirling open the doors of their private studios and galleries to the wider public for a special viewing.

The seventh annual Stirling Open Art Studios will be held on Sunday 6th February and Sunday 13th February 2022 from 10am to 4pm. Entry is FREE. See the map here.

Over the last seven years, the group has grown substantially and now has 13 talented artists on board. Their artistic practice is wide-ranging from watercolours, pastels, oils, mixed media and acrylics to woodwork, sculpture, jewellery and pottery.

In these intimate and inspired settings, art enthusiasts are invited to meet the respective artists and peruse their unique artworks which are available for sale.

Plan your day with some friends and make a day of it! All artists will be on hand to have a chat about their works, commissions and private tuition as well.

Participating artists include:

  • Annie Rawle

Annie's current abstract works explore the chaotic yet rhythmic nature of everything. Daily rituals give form to busy lives, random plant growth creates form and the cracks formed in drying earth are all inspiration. Spontaneous mark-making & overlaid shapes interact to create harmony from chaos. Mixed media elements include textiles, acrylics, wood, and wire. Recently, simple hand-cranked kinetic features add a playful element that echoes her themes.
