Celebrate everything that made the Crocodile Hunter great
The late and great Crocodile Hunter left this world before his time, but his legacy will live on thanks to the hard work being done at Australia Zoo, especially on Steve Irwin Day. November 15 is an international and annual event to celebrate the extraordinary life of Steve Irwin by bringing together the things he loved most: family, wildlife conservation and fun.

Australia Zoo is a blast any day of the year, but especially so on Steve Irwin Day. There are also plenty of activities planned for the day:
You can look forward to a free sausage sizzle breakfast from the early opening time of 8am.
The Voice runner up and Sunshine Coast local Darren Percival will perform live in the Crocoseum on the day. Learn how to make a Possum box. Anyone who comes along can make and take home a possum box for their local neighbourhood to help keep possums and sugar gliders safe from predators.
Free face painting, free colouring competition and a major prize will be drawn on the day.
The day is also the major fundraiser for Australia Zoo's Wildlife Warriors– a conservation charity established in 2002 to support the protection of injured, threatened and/or endangered wildlife. It was started by Steve and Terri Irwin in 2002
