Stephanie's Urban Spa at Bulimba hosted an information evening on the Jane Iredale make-up range, on Tuesday April 16th.


Jane Iredale, founded the Iredale Mineral Cosmetics Company in 1994, bringing the mineral make-up line Jane Iredale to the aesthetic industry. She was the first to supply the industry with a line of make-up with skincare benefits. Jane's goal is to make products that look good, feel good and are good for the skin.

Gathering in the front room, an intimate group of Stephanie's spa patrons, sipped on bubbles and were treated to a visual display of how to correctly use and apply the products. Demonstrating and educating were Eddie Norcross, Australia's Jane Iredale Sales Manager, and Sales Executive, Angela Androtti.

Stephanie Shepherd, CEO and founder of the business, was on hand to mingle and share her passion for a make-up range she stocks exclusively at her five spa locations.
"I fell in love with the Jane Iredale range of make-up and skin care a few years ago when I was attending the USA Ispa conference," said Stephanie. "I met Jane in person a few years later in Australia at a beauty trade fair and was very lucky to personally have Jane do a makeup demonstration where I fell in love with the range again. I am very proud to endorse Jane Iredale in all my spa locations." said Stephanie.

With two attendees (Eve and Bella) selected as models, the group learnt extensive science, technology and testing has gone into the making of these largely plant based products, which Eddie claims are very kind to your skin. "Food grade quality," boasted Eddie.

Jane Iredale state their products are free from chemical preservatives and dyes and are hypo-allergenic tested, so even the most sensitive of skins can use them.

As the Jane Iredale representatives expertly applied make-up to Eve and Bella, the group witnessed the transformation. Admiring the result, "I love how it feels on my skin," said Bella, "and I really love how natural it looks."


Eddie shared his extensive product knowledge, often quoting scientific names for the ingredients. His passion for the products and for entertaining shone through, sharing many amusing stories through-out the evening.

The group later took the time to inspect the range and grabbed the opportunity to learn application tips and colour suggestions under a skilled, professional eye. "I enjoy having these information nights, as my clients get the opportunity to feel and try the products for themselves."



It was an informative and enjoyable evening in the relaxed surrounds of Stephanies Urban Spa, Bulimba.
