When I told my colleague about attending Riley Lee & Marshall McGuire's – Goldfish through Summer Rain, he seemed genuinely interested so when two tickets came along to see Stephan Moccio at the Melbourne Recital Centre, I jumped at the chance to bring him along for the ride.
Presented by Music in the Sky, Stephan Moccio - Live in Australia will be Stephan's first solo piano performance down under. Stephan While you may not have heard of Stefan before, you'll definitely be familiar with his impressive body of work which includes Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" and The Weeknd's "Earned It" which (ahem) earned Stephan his Grammy and Oscar nominations.
In addition to being an award-winning composer, Stephan is also a classically trained pianist, producer, arranger, and recording artist. Patrons of his upcoming Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows can expect original music from his acclaimed albums Tales of Solace (2020) and Lionheart (2021), along with hit songs he's written and produced songs for the likes of Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Dua Lipa and Andrea Bocelli.
