This show is wit with grit with a twist. Steph and Dan Teitelbaum (real brother and sister) spill the beer about their parents and their childhood with hilarious aplomb. They guard a deep dark secret of two major Australian Icons, Bob Downe and Magda Szubanski.

It does not take them long to revel in and reveal they are the love twins of these two icons to a full audience. This show has shades of everything that screams Australian TV history with more comic twists and turns then Kath and Kim's G-strings.

The show is being held at the Melba Spiegeltent which has been a venue for Melbourne entertainment for over 100 years. It was built in Germany in the 1920's and passed through several performers and circuses before Frank Gasser brought it to Melbourne from Europe. It is a lovely old round stage encircled by tables and chairs with a bar serving drinks for the performance. It has a wonderful ambience and suits the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to a tee.

This is a highly entertaining show as the twins sing and dance out the journey of their unusual but secretly blessed childhood. Thank goodness they were only separated once. Their personalities rely on each other.

This will all be revealed throughout a face paced and fun 60-minute performance. The laughter just piles upon the laughter. And it is also a lovely journey through the history of Australian TV from Fast Forward to Red Faces. Nothing is sacred as they take the mickey out of Mum, Dad and everyone in between.

This is a shining star at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and a must see.

They are accompanied by some wonderful musicians and singers who are a highlight and help them along with remembering the words to the songs. Have they really forgotten the words, or is it just weaving a funnier storyline? Go find out and let me know.

Ben addresses his concern with the alphabet and the naming of our LGBTQIA community and he has some innovative ideas on streamlining this. Listen up, as you will laugh your self silly with his naming ideas.

The fantastic talent on Guitar is Gordon Li, on Drums is Ben Charnley, and on Piano is Boris Conely. And sister Carmel and Ashleigh Kiven belt out a ripper of a song that had everyone practically dancing on the ceiling. Go early, so you can enjoy the band pre-show.

Navigator be aware, this is the Melba Spiegeltent in Johnstone Street, Collingwood, not the one in front of the Melbourne Performing Arts Theatre in St Kilda.

Gets your tickets, wear something as outlandish as Ben and Carmel Downe and give the twins the glorified attention they deserve. I heard it whispered Magda and Bob might be in the audience!
