Celebrate the history of this 19th century street
King Street in Raymond Terrace is a preserved historical street near the Hunter River, which has buildings dating back to the 1840's. It was the original main street of Raymond Terrace between 1840 until the 1955 flood immersed the street, and the main street was built further away from the river.

On Saturday, 18th May, step back in time over 100 years to a simple pace of life and enjoy old fashioned activities, dance, music and games for all ages. Come dressed in vintage clothes and learn more about why this street is so unique. This family event will be held between 10am - 3pm.

See the King St Preservation & Action Group website and Facebook for details.
