I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
The last train left the station on Christmas Day 2014 and the area is now being used to connect the community with events such as markets, music festivals, play and holiday activities. The outdoor space can support events of up to 4500 people.
Apart from the attractive outdoor space, there are various opportunities for retail therapy. Make Space exhibits and sells the work of local artisans as well as offering regular workshops. There is Wildflower City, a cafe that is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm. A free community lending library is provided by Book Stuff, there are also stores where you can buy homewares, plant-based clothing, surfwear or to learn meditation and mindfulness.
