Game 1 will be the 100th State of Origin game to be played, and for all those die hard fanatics it will be a game not be missed.

Be part of Origin history. Over the years, there has been so many magical moments since the first game in 1980, when Queensland won the match with Arthur Beatson as Captain. In 1982 the organisers decided to hold a 2 game plus decider series with NSW winning that year and so the State of Origin was born. Mal Meninga played in this game along with Wally Lewis and is now continuing his successful reign as Queensland Coach with 17 wins under his belt.

Queensland have won 8 series in a row, a truly amazing feat and I'm sure Queensland will be fired up to give it their all and notch up Series 9. Can we make it 9 in a row? I think we can with the drive and determination of Greg Inglis, one of the best players in the world, Johnathan Thurston and the powerhouse combination of Cameron Smith, Billy Slater and Cooper Cronk.

Come on Maroon's don't let us down. NSW be prepared to get thrashed, this is ours!

Be part of Origin history and get in before you miss out. There are still tickets available at Ticketek for Games 1 and Game 3.

Look forward to seeing you there. and if all else fails, get your mates together at home and enjoy the game on Channel Nine.
