Christmas Baubles and Stars of the Past
For some reason, there is simply nothing more magical than Christmas. When I think of Christmas, I think fun and happiness, love and nurturing and well, magic.

As a child, a special Christmas treat was going by the Christmas windows to see the moving displays and wandering around the city shops with carols whilist doing our Christmas shopping. I have such fond memories of these special times, that after many years of living in a city that did not have Christmas windows, a visit to Melbourne one late November brought these very happy memories back to life.

A big part of these memories are also the Christmas decorations. I still have and lovingly bring out each year at tree decorating time -the beautiful glass balls that my mother treasured for many years, and those not so delicate trinkets that my son made for me at school.
