Starlight Day is the biggest national annual fundraising event. The aim of Starlight Day is to raise the very much needed funds to help continue transforming the Starlight 'Shine On' hospital experience for sick kids and their families around Australia.

This year, Starlight Children's Foundation needs to raise $1.5 million as part of its biggest annual fundraising event. There are more than two thousand volunteers that will hit the streets on Starlight Day to sell Starlight merchandise and collect donations.

There are many locations all across Australia from shopping centres to train stations where you are able to donate.



Starlight receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of the community to deliver programs that provide positive distraction and relief for thousands of children living with the pain of hospital life.

Starlight's innovative programs include Starlight Express Rooms run by Captain Starlight, which are medical-free havens offering an escape from the stress of hospital life, Starlight's Wish Granting program, which recently granted its 8,000th Wish, and Starlight's peer-to-peer adolescent support program Livewire.
