Last weekend, I visited Starbucks Coffee Shop on Cascade Road in Southwest Atlanta. There are a distinctive array of beverages you can order at anytime throughout the day. I decided on the latte and settled into my seat in a booth near the counter.

My order arrived promptly; my server greeted me with a warm smile, and placed the hot beverage in front of me.

The Starbucks on Cascade Road is quite cozy. The coffee shop is the preferred digs for some of Atlanta's young urban professionals, so when a seasoned professional walks in, the whole place goes silent.

My entrance was further pursued by how the group would jockey for position. Also, the atmosphere was friendly; the guests were busy chatting among themselves while enjoying the ambiance of the place.

I had a few words with the manager; he was about the same age as the guests who patronized his restaurant. Yet, he struck me as a fellow who knew what he wanted. After our conversation, I picked up my check and walked to the counter.

Once I paid my check, I walked out having thoroughly enjoyed myself.
