Greetings young Padawan. If you can feel the Force, or even better, use it, then this is the event for you. For 6 days, the Jedi will be protecting the Karrinyup shopping centre and teaching both children and adults how to be one with the force.



Over the school holidays, there is going to be a life sized X-Wing Starfighter that you can climb into and have a photo op of your own. Unfortunately, you can't take it for a flight, but it's still pretty cool. Plus, it is free to see and take photos in the X-Wing.

There is also going to be a Master Jedi and a Jedi Knight that is running training sessions for children to train in the ways of the Jedi. Lightsaber lessons are on offer, of course. Bookings are essential, as the ways of the force are very popular.

If you have children who have Autism or other sensory needs, there is a special event to cater for their needs. Endorsed by Autism Australia, the Sensory Jedi Experience is available on Sunday 10th April 9am-11am.

Thanks to the WA Brick Society, there will be a LEGO display of some of the most intricate and exciting sets. There will also be a Make and Take workshop where you get to build and keep a special LEGO set. Bookings are also essential.

There are games to play and collect tokens if you win. You can use those tokens to redeem for rare Star Wars collectables. There is also loads of licensed merchandise at Minitopia to browse and inevitably buy.

Head down to the Karrinyup Shopping Centre between 9 and 5, from Saturday to 9th April to Thursday 14th April. It is free to get in and have a look at things, but most of the events need to be booked beforehand. Get in early to avoid disappointment.

Disappointment might lead to going to the dark side.
