May the 4th Be With You
Channel your inner Princess Laia or Luke Skywalker and get ready to storm into Star Wars Day to celebrate one of the most popular films of all time.

Since 2011, May 4 has internationally been recognised as Star Wars Day to pay homage to this classic science fiction series. First released in 1977, the George Lucas blockbuster took us to a galaxy far far away and introduced us to unforgettable characters like the fearless Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, the dreaded Sith Lord, Darth Vader and the beautiful and fierce Rebel Leader, Princess Leia.

The Ashgrove Library
To celebrate the film, The Ashgrove Library will be hosting a Star Wars Day on 4 May 2021 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. This free event is suitable for little Jedis' who are 7 years to enjoy trivia, games and giveaways .

Bookings are required. To secure your spot, phone the library on 07 3407 1940 to reserve your place. The Ashgrove Library is located at Amarina Avenue, Ashgrove, just 5kms from the CBD.

If you can't make it to the day, why not watch the series and re-live the inter-galactic adventures of the Star Wars team. May the fourth be with you.
