Hottest US comics on one mega show
Following the success of the first-ever Star-Spangled Stand-Up tour in June 2017, Frontier Touring present a brand new hand-selected line-up of two of the funniest comedians the States has to offer: Brent Morin and Josh Johnson.

The Wild Oats bar is an intimate room inside the Enmore Theatre featuring a small bar and seating around a stage. Guests weren't brave enough to take the front row of seats but that didn't stop the crowd from being noticed and playfully picked on! Introducing the show was Mike Goldstein, who is an American comedian now established in Australia. Mike interacted well with the audience to lighten the mood and get us ready for an hour of stand-up.

Josh Johnson is a former writer for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and features on Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central. He currently writes for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Josh has a fairly relaxed presence and shared a few jokes about his experience in Sydney, being his first time in Australia. Often his humour was observational and you couldn't help but laugh at some of the more relatable scenarios.

Brent Morin appears on the NBC sitcom Undateable alongside Chris D'Elia, and is best known for his one-hour stand-up special on Netflix. Brent has made appearances on shows Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Chelsea Lately and CONAN. Brent had me in stitches, from his quirky ADHD like personality traits, constantly getting distracted mid-joke and laughing hysterically at himself, his intense energy and self-deprecating humour made it a night to remember and had me laughing for hours after.

Start Spangled Stand Up is a great way to give Australians the opportunity to see international talent at an affordable price in a more intimate setting. The comedians even hung around to interact with the crowd afterwards. I highly recommend getting yourself a ticket to the next Star Spangled Stand Up!
