Experience something different in the city
Situated in the picturesque Darling Harbour, a new exciting ride has hit the harbour... The Star of the Show Ferris Wheel.

Step aboard, take a seat and admire the spectacular views as you take this enchanting ride.

This is the perfect romantic activity to do as you sit back, snuggle and be in awe of the views with that special someone or why not take the family for a fun ride!

The ride lasts around ten minutes and is available from 10am to 11pm.

I had the opportunity to experience this ride both during the day and at night and I must say, to experience the ride in both perspectives was incredibly awe-inspiring.

The Ferris Wheel is approximately thirty two metres high and is crowned the highest continuously travelling Ferris wheel in Australia!

It offers 360 degree panoramic views of the city, harbour and famous landmarks. The rotating gondola is fully enclosed with Plexiglass wrapping around every gondola, making it safe and offering clear views for an enjoyable ride.

The view of the Harbour inside the gondola at night...

The Star of the Show Observation Wheel is themed Moulin Rouge with spectacular European artwork and also includes LED lights with over thirty five different colour changing patterns and designs, adding more excitement to this ride.

You can control the speed of your gondola by rotating the pole in the centre of the gondola 360 degrees- this was very thrilling!

The Ferris Wheel will leave Darling Harbour on the 27 September 2015 and will return back to Darling Harbour during the Christmas Period.

Its next adventure after Darling Harbour will be Bondi, New South Wales and the views will include the popular and famous Bondi Beach!
