As you can tell from the title, Standing on Ceremony is not just one cohesive tale, but instead, multiple vignettes by some of Broadway's best writers about what happens before, after, and during those two simple words: 'I do.'
Produced as part of Melbourne's Midsumma line-up, Standing on Ceremony offers audiences a peak into queer culture and the fight for marriage equality, by putting a human face on a controversial issue and delivering tears and laughter rather than propaganda.
Who will be in it? The cast features Spencer McLaren (The Secret Life of Us), Pia Miranda (Looking for Alibrandi), Michael Veitch (Fast Forward, Full Frontal), Brett Whittingham, Olivia Hogan, and Luke Jacka.
