Create something beautiful

Do you love all of those old stained-glass windows? There is something very beautiful about the way the sun shines through the glass and makes some beautiful rainbow reflections. And now you have the chance to make your own. Ok, so they won't be the same as the the stained glass windows, but they will be personalised and beautiful. And if you do want to make your own, you will want to head to the Stained Glass Workshop to create something unforgettable.

Thanks to the House of Hobby, you will be able to create a gorgeous stained glass window, using copper foiling glass. There are a range of different colours and you can use as many or as few as you like to be able to create an abstract landscape design. Your teacher is going to show you exactly how to use these pieces of glass to make something unique and special for yourself. This is something you're going to be so proud of making and being able to hang in your garden or window.

Everything you need is included in the price of the ticket, and you will also have some morning tea and the drinks will be free-flowing. Your teacher will show you exactly how to make something very special even after this workshop, and you will be able to make some more sun catchers at home.

Make sure to wear closed-in shoes as the glass will be sharp and you don't want to hurt yourself. And why not bring a friend with you! That way, you can make a design for your friend, and they can make one for you and at the end you can swap! It's the perfect sort of workshop to share with a friend or partner.

If you want to take part, make sure to book in quickly. There are a lot of people interested in this out there, and they will definitely book out quickly. Tickets are not cheap, they are $192.12 per person. If you do choose to take part, then you're going to want to head to the House of Hobby in West Perth on Saturday, 14th of October. The workshop starts at 10am and will be finished by 2pm, when you will be able to take your suncatcher home and hang it up somewhere where the sun will shine through your glass and show off your amazing design!
