Fun creations to stick to windows and mirrors everywhere
Stained glass window decorations are heaps of fun for kids to make, it's suitable for both younger and older kids. Peel off decorations can be placed and moved on all glass surfaces including mirrors. They're lots of fun, they look beatuiful with the sun blazing through them and can allow your child to be as creative as they like when making them.

There are probably many brands of stained glass window decorations, but I've found in my experience a good quality brand is AMOS's glass deco. I originally found it at a craft expo but you can find them at art stores such as Riot Art or eBay. There are different packages you can buy which all have different things inside such as glow in the dark, sparkly and normal colours.

Each of the packages also contain clear plastic sheets and picture outlines so that you can trace your favourite pictures onto the plastic and make pretty window decorations.

Of course you can choose to draw your own designs, or take pictures off the internet to trace so you can make a full array of pictures and creations.

Tracing out your designs (using the special black liner liquid) can be pretty difficult for younger kids to do, especially as you must let it dry for a few hours before you can colour it in. So the company has also made and included in some of their packages little plastic pieces (with holes at the top for you to thread string through) that smaller kids can simply fill with the coloured liquid of their choice and let dry.

Parents however, be aware that it can be messy work and you'll want to keep an eye on your kids so that they don't get the stain glass liquid all over their hands, clothes, table and room. Overall they are long-lasting, pretty and creative and are lots of fun for kids to create and display.
