Free Mask Making Workshops:
Kids (and some adults too) just can't get enough of these little blue people living in mushrooms. Even
Stafford City Shopping Centre is turning blue these summer school holidays with a series of great
free workshops. Children of all ages are welcome to make their own Smurf mask to take home using felt, crayons, pencils and other craft materials. No bookings are required for this activity, which runs daily from 10am - 1pm from January 15 - January 19, 2013. Located near Sanity.
Meet Smurfette
Anyone with a Smurfs fan in the house? Come and meet Smurfette, everybody's favourite girly Smurf character from 10 am - 12.30pm on Saturday, 19th January, 2013, outside Sanity. No bookings are required to meet Smurfette, but be sure to bring your camera.
A little bit of Smurf Trivia:
Did you know the first PVC Smurf figurines were created in the 1960s? There are 256 episodes of The Smurfs, the first of which went to air in 1981 and are still popular today. The Smurf Movie (2011) has ensured that the next generation are hooked on the whole smurfing concept - how very ingenious. See you at Stafford City Smurfing Centre - have fun.
