What is Stadium Stomp?
This is a unique, fun sporting event that focuses on a stair-climbing course within some of the largest sporting stadiums in Australia. Participants climb up, down and around the stairs within the grandstands, covering thousands of stairs before finishing on the ground itself.

The length of each course and number of stairs traversed differs for each stadium, which is one of the reasons why this is such a unique event.

You can take a rest at any time (just plonk yourself down in any of the thousands of seats available), plus there are plenty of water stations and toilets available to keep you comfortable throughout the course.

Who can enter:
The Stomp is open to participants of any level of fitness aged 12 years and over.

Why enter:
1. This is a fantastic alternative to a fun run. It's a unique event (how many people can say they've climbed thousands of steps in the MCG, SCG, GABBA, or Adelaide Oval?!) that's challenging and works slightly different muscle groups to running.
2. The Stomp will be set to music (old and new tunes) mixed up by a professional DJ to help keep up your motivation.
3. It's a great opportunity to fundraise for some amazing charities.
4. It's not competitive – this is a test of personal stamina and concentration. You set your own pace – you can walk, run or do a mixture of both. Don't worry, you won't be timed.
5. You can enter as an individual, or if you don't want to go it alone you can enter as a team.
6. The event is organised in "waves" every 15 minutes to avoid overcrowding, so not everyone is doing the course at the same time.
7. There are warm up activities scheduled for each wave to get your legs ready.
8. You can even purchase a snazzy event t-shirt to prove you did the event.
