The 17th of March has become one of the most celebrated events in the world. Although traditionally, this day is a religious day to celebrate St Patrick, the patron Saint of the Irish, one could say it now religiously associated to everything Irish. Anything green or gold, shamrocks and luck, and of course, beer represents St Patrick's day.
So all you Victorians and non-Victorians of course, get your Irish on and choose a great pub, get a nice cold Guinness, and enjoy these sunny days with your friends. This is widely regarded as the authentic way to celebrate this day.

The Quiet Man – Flemington Outdoor street party with live bands, food and drink stalls and indoor live music with breakfast available from 10am.
Probably the best place to be. Open from 9.30am to 3.00am, O'Reilly's has free entry and $20 pint and Irish breakfast, with entertainment all day long in the beer garden and on stage.
P.J.O'Briens – Southbank Open from 9am till the wee hours, enjoy a full Irish breakfast, some Irish dancing and live music. Booking are in order in this pubs and it will book out pretty fast.
The Corkman Irish Pub – Carlton Celebrate a traditional Irish session at the Corkman from 5pm to 9pm with traditional meals and beer.
