Dress in green, and have a wonderful day and night
There are several places you can attend on St Patrick's Day and here are my top picks - many of them are on all day, so get out your "greens" and go have a good green day. Even if you are not Irish, make sure you have a fabulous fun Paddy's day! 🍀
1. Leederville Oval St Patrick's Festival St Patrick's Day WA Parade and Family Fun Day is back for 2018 on Saturday 17th March 2018, which is the actual date that is St Patrick's Day!
Starting at 10 am, there will be a parade, where Leederville will turn green for a day as floats, walking groups, and marching bands saunter down Newcastle Street and along Oxford Street, before heading up Vincent Street, and ending at Leederville Oval.
Starting at 11 am, Leederville Oval will be the venue once again for the Family Fun Day. There will be children's activities, food stalls, live entertainment and a huge bar - this is an Irish celebration not to be missed!
2. Paddy's Day at JB's Celebrate Paddy's Day over two days at Jb O'Reilly's, 99 Cambridge Street, West Leederville.
This will be a roaring party from Saturday 17th March, when they will open at 7.30 am until midnight. There will be live music until 11.30 pm and Irish Dancers at 8.00 am, 9.30 am, 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
You can book now for a full Irish buffet Breakfast which will be served from 7.30 to 9.00 am, or for the late risers from 9.30 to 11.15 am, or you can have lunch from 12.00 to 2.30 pm or from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm).
On the second day of celebrations, Sunday 18th March, they are doing it all over again! They will open from 10.00 am till 10.00 pm with breakfast rolls from 10.00 am, followed by Sunday Roast Dinners with drink specials all day and live music from 12 pm through to 9.30 pm.
This will be on 16th March from 7.00 pm to 1.00 am and also on 17th March at the same times, and it will be held at The Woodvale Tavern and Reception Centre, 143 Trappers Drive, Woodvale.
Enjoy a fantastic Irish Night in the Woodvale Tavern featuring live Irish Music, Irish DJ, Irish Dancers, Raffle Prizes and $8 Pint of Guinness Promotion from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

4. Irish Club of WA
This will be held on 17th to 18 March from 8.00 am to 1.00 am at The Irish Club Western Australia, 61 Townshend Road, Subiaco.
There will be a host of entertainment as you would expect from the Irish Club, and this includes full Irish Breakfast until 12 pm, lunch and dinner - both floors will be open, live music all day, Jonny Reid, Tommy O' Brien & Co, Prohibition, Craic 'N' On, Irish Dancers, and the IRELAND vs ENGLAND six nations game live from 10.30 pm upstairs.

5. Durty Nelly's Irish Pub Perth
This Irish pub is at 397 Murray Street, Perth and celebrations will be on 17th March from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm.
Here is where you go for the best craic in town this St Patrick's Day! 🍀 If you get there from 7.00 am, you can have breakfast before the parade with the $26 special Irish buffet breakfast ,which includes a choice of Guinness, Club Orange or Irish Coffee!
During the day, there will be live music from 10.30 am, with Perth's finest Irish entertainment, including Irish Dancing, Tommy O'Brien, plus Theresa Kellehar at 10.30 am, Lost Backpackers at 2.00 pm, Fiona Rea band at 5.00 pm and Shanks Pony from 9.00 pm.
Durty Nelly will be open all day with prizes, giveaways and all the finest Irish drinks, so you can celebrate Paddy's Day the right way!
6. St Patrick's Raceday
And for something totally different, we have St Patrick's Raceday at Ascot! This will be on 17th March, from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
Here you will be able to celebrate all things Irish with plenty of Guinness and Kilkenny on tap. You can bring family and friends and enjoy traditional Irish treats, live music and a full race day schedule and of course, you will wear your best green outfit!
Join all the action in "Paddy's Kitchen" celebrating Irish good times on the beautiful outdoor deck right on the track and finish line, where you'll be able to watch thoroughbred racing, including the Listed Ascot 1000 Guineas and Supremacy Stakes.
7. St Patrick's Day at The Duke
The Duke goes green on Saturday 17th March for a Paddy's Day celebration like no other at the Duke, 2 Innesvale Way, Carramar, from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm
☘️ You can have a $25 full Irish Breakfast from 8.00 am including a pint of Guinness, Kilkenny, bottle of Magners, Club Orange or nip of Jameson, Irish food specials all day, Live Irish Music all day from 12.00 pm, Three Crowns School of Irish Dancing from 3.00 pm, Gang of Three in the sports bar from 8.30 pm and $8 pints of Guinness and Kilkenny.
