Balmain Favourite, Cat and Fiddle Hotel, is celebrating St Patrick's Day in style this March.St Patrick's Day is a joyous celebration of the heritage and culture of the Irish and on Tuesday, March 17 2015, the Cat and Fiddle will offer some truly exceptional Irish cuisine and free festive entertainment all day, including live Irish music and dance.The Irish appetites will be smiling this St. Patrick's Day thanks to award-winning Irish chef Padraic Kielty's traditional menu. Patrons can enjoy culinary delights such as:* Black stout & beef cobbler with green potato scones; * Boiled Irish bacon with boxty , smoked parsnips & Irish whiskey mustard; and * Corned beef and crispy colcannon with fried onion pickle & cabbage. Kielty will also be serving his famous Irish breakfast with soda bread & buttered potato bread and all the traditional Irish trimmings from white pudding, black pudding to authentic Irish pork sausages, all day from 10am on Tuesday 17th March.
