In place of the posh "Jacksons" with its 13-course menus and the matching French wines, the Beaufort Street locals (and all other Perth's foodie's, of course) are now treated to a new "small plates restaurant" called "St Michaels 6003". The dishes are sophisticated, gorgeous looking and absolutely delicious. But, as before, be prepared to pay an extra penny for the pleasure of fine dining.
There are a couple of set menus varying from $60 to $90 per person, with the rest of the menu available a la cart. Whilst the prices on the general menu appear to be not too different from your standard Beaufort Street restaurant prices, remember that the servings are quite petit usually meaning that you might need to order a few of those to keep you going.
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturdays for dinner from 6pm till late. It is also open on Fridays for lunch from 12 noon to 3pm.
A stunning place to celebrate any special occasion, this fairly new Beaufort Street restaurant offers its patrons an opportunity to dissolve their inner senses in the pleasure of fine dining, carefully created by the Perth's best chefs specifically for the occasion.
As an appetiser or maybe a dessert, a Samuel Johnson's quote comes to mind (and quite rightly so too):
"The finest landscape in the world is improved by a good inn in the foreground." (Samuel Johnson)
