St Martin's ANZAC Walk and Historical Cemetery Tour

To celebrate History Festival, St Martin's Anglican Church invites you to come for an ANZAC walk and historical cemetery tour on Thursday, 25th May 2023 from 2.00pm to 3.30pm.

This is a self-guided tour at your own pace. Before starting your walk, enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee and fresh scones with jam and cream in their café area. Then start the walk at the 1925 Soldiers' Memorial and follow the ANZAC walk. Along the walk, you will see silhouettes of soldiers and a replica trench wall with a metal storybook and interactive narrative. The walk will lead you to the original St Martin's Church which was built in 1841. You can then explore the heritage cemetery next to the church. In the gardens of the cemetery are displays of old farming implement and there is even a unique sculpture of a Clydesdale horse.

This is a walk to enjoy and not to be missed. St Martin's Anglican Church is located at 3 Gorge Road, Paradise. The event is free, however, bookings are required by phone or email. For bookings and more information on the event, visit the History Festival website .
