Written by Enid Bagnold and directed by Gary O'Neil, The Chalk Garden is a tale of a grandmother who failed at the upbringing of both her daughter and her granddaughter. Her precious flowers also die in her chalk garden. Finally the arrival of a woman who understands and deals with the problems seems to offer a solution. However when her shady past catches up with her, will the "chalk garden" survive without her?

A fascinating play that has proven a success over many years.

Saw The Chalk Garden last night. Very unusual but brilliant. I challenge you to find better acting at QPAC.
