The most recent branch to be opened in South Australia, St Louis at Mawson Lakes makes it easy for those living in the north to enjoy their delectable range of gelato and desserts. Their menu has undergone a slight expansion, now including a few savoury brunch-style dishes.
One of the new brunch options, Croque Monsieur, had smoky flavoured ham. Mustard imparted a hint of sharpness and the sandwich was toasted sufficiently to give it a nice golden-brown exterior. Served with the dish was a serving of potato chips and sour cream to dip the chips in.

The Belgian waffles in the Tiramisu Waffle were crisp with a light and fluffy interior. A drizzling of maple syrup provided a bit of sweetness. Aside from Savoiardi biscuits that tend to be used in a typical Tiramisu, the dish included a small chocolate tart that had a gooey chocolatey filling in a delectable buttery tart shell. Completing the dish were a scoop of gelato and whipped cream along with an espresso shot to pour over the waffles.

For something not as rich, there is the Passionfruit Cheesecake French Toast. The French Toast was cooked just right and the various fruit added a refreshing element to the dish. Shortbread added a bit of crunch and a scoop of whipped cream and French vanilla gelato completed the dish. While not shown in the picture, the dish also came with passionfruit sauce.

The décor of the restaurant gave it a modern and comfortable feel. Parking is not a problem with the nearby carpark offering convenient off-street parking.
