It's back - that summer feeling of watching films in the outdoors on a warm (or cool) evening with family and friends. The American Express Openair Cinema is back at St Kilda! Think balmy nights, newest releases as well as some oldies, catching up with friends, lounging in bean bags, sipping beer or wine and generally having a great time.



The season starts November 23rd and finishes on December 20th 2019. There are new release films, some oldies, films suitable for children, and film genres that will appeal to all - Downtown Abbey, Joker, The Lion King, Ride like a Girl and many more - the choice is yours.

There are several different seating options available. You can bring your own picnic rug or low seating (General Admission), you can upgrade to the Kathmandu Corner(including Kathmandu camping chair, a drink, popcorn and a discount voucher for up to 55% off Kathmandu gear in stores) or to the Prime Video Lounge (bean bag, blanket hire, wait service, popcorn and a glass of Giesen wine or non-alcoholic beverage)



If you have an American Express Card, you can enjoy the full VIP experience by purchasing a ticket to the American Express Lounge, complete with premium seating, unlimited popcorn and a beverage of choice. American Express Card Members also save 15% on selected tickets, are granted access to the American Express Garden and receive complimentary blanket hire.

Ladro has a pop-up stand serving their high-quality pizzas, calamari, French fries Italian style and lots of other snacks and meals. The Bar serves wine by Giesen and beer by 4Pines and Pimm's cocktails.

Your furry canine friend is also welcome to enjoy a night out so long as he or she is well-behaved and you make sure to pick up after him or her. And don't be put off by Melbourne's fickle weather, just rug up, hire a blanket and you will be fine.

American Express Openair Cinema is located on South Beach Reserve, next to the St Kilda Sea Baths. It's easy to get there by trams 3a, 16 and 96. Some parking is available.
