White Elephants & Old Fashioned Family Fun in Reid
St Johns Anglican Church in Reid is a well-known fixture in the community, as it is Canberra's first church and oldest building in the city. This beautiful church dates back to the 1840's and has been a central hub for the community ever since. On October 22nd they will be hosting their traditional Community Fair with all the old school favourites. Buy some home made jam, shop at the White Elephant stall, admire local crafts and purchase plants, cakes and much more. The kids will enjoy the jumping castle, fishing games, face painting and petting zoo. This is a fun morning out for the whole community, just minutes from the CBD and the Australian War Memorial. The Fair is open 9:30am - 1:30pm. If you love a good White Elephant stall, locals recommend you get there early!
