For quite a few years now, people have flocked to the Bellarine to attend the St James Church Second Hand Book Sale, hoping to pick up a good bargain from the myriad titles available.
This popular annual event is usually held in the first few weeks of January, capitalising on the tourist trade of the summer holidays and giving people the chance to find some interesting holiday reading to pass the lazy summer days.
There will be plenty of interesting titles available for purchase
While the book sale was held in January, as per usual, the folks at St James Church have decided to hold a second, mid-year sale in 2012, which will take place over the Queen's Birthday long weekend (9-10 June).
St James Anglican Church, Drysdale, where the book sale will be held
Located in the new St James' Hall, the book sale will be on from 9am-5pm on Saturday, and 10am-4pm on Sunday. There will be hundreds of second-hand books available for purchase, so why not pop down to Drysdale and see what treasures you can find.
