The St George Creative Art & Craft Centre run fun, low-cost classes in traditional mediums like drawing & painting, mosaics or pottery. The centre employs several experienced artists to guide you on your journey through the creative arts. Classes run 4 terms a year with 10 classes per term. There is an annual membership fee of $10 and classes cost either $120 per term for the 2-hour classes or $180 per term for a 3-hour class (not including materials).
The centre also run art classes for school age children at a cost of $150/term which includes all materials. The after school classes provide a stimulating outlet for children to explore the creative arts.
The centre was established in 1978 to provide a venue and outlet for local artists. Today, they provide a fun and social environment for both adults and children to explore the creative arts.
The centre holds its annual art exhibition in November, as well as organising trips to various art and craft markets throughout the year.
