Who's Wiping Up Tea Towels with Political Leaders
Really, the St Baker Studio and Gallery has much more than tea towels.

Always on display is a range of artworks from local artisans. Jo St Baker works in the studio at the rear of the gallery and is happy to show visitors around.

There's some great work from Liz Heber on the walls, along with some of her silk scarves and there's pottery and some really quirky work created from unwanted household and other items.

Can you work out the items in the image below?

Re Purposed Household Items as Art

One of Jo's fun art projects is the political tea towels and with two more elections this year, she is about to complete some more, so we wait with to see what results.

Teatowels, Julia Gillard, Kevin Rudd,
Who is on these Teatowels?

Her political artwork is mainly seen on tea towels, but Jo will show you other places where the faces of well known politicians have appeared.

The WorkShop and Gallery are at Mon Komo Hotel, 99 Marine Parade, Redcliffe. Why not have lunch at the beautiful Mon Komo Hotel overlooking Moreton Bay, and then visit the gallery next door?
