Travelers to Melbourne's international terminal can get their coffee fix from much-loved coffee institution ST. ALi as it opens its latest store just in time for Easter (April 18) at the Melbourne International Airport.

Grab a pre-flight coffee and a bite before boarding from one of Melbourne's iconic coffee companies. The cafe is located in the departure lounge and will be open with extended hours from 5AM to 1AM each day (perfect for those catching the early-morning red-eye flights as well!)



ST. ALi's Salvatore Malatesta is guiding a skilled team of coffee-makers, designers, and creatives in launching the new cafe, and said the coffee and food on offer would be sure to create a buzz.
"I believe there is a certain stigma attached to airport dining as sometimes quick, packaged, and simple," he said. "Anyone who has experienced one of ST. ALi's cafes knows our food and coffee is oozing with passion and flavour—and is anything but simple. We have an entire creative team centred solely around the creation of our menu, and it's not your regular, old recipe-testing process. Our chefs are artists and the food they create is sculpted with incredible passion and skill."

The menu will be uniquely Melbourne, scrapping the standard sandwich and average cups of coffee typically associated with airport dining in favour of dishes such as cheeseburger salads, and golden syrup and cinnamon, sugar-soaked French toast.

The menu will be a mix of ST ALI's classics Melbournians have come to love with some new delights to try such as the 'Saints Chia Pot', featuring coconut and maple-soaked chia seeds. And it wouldn't be a ST. ALi breakfast without favourites like poached eggs and smashed avo.

Travellers can also grab their signature coffee that's been fueling Melbournians for over a decade in-store, in both latte form and take-away retail bags. The cafe will also stock St ALi's instant coffee blends in new 7-day and 30-day calendar-style travel packs, featuring the Wide Awake blend on weekdays, and more fruity flavours for relaxation and enjoyment on the weekends.

All ST. ALi apparel and merchandise will also be available for purchase in-store.
