Squid Game Season 2 Episode 6

Episode 6 begins with a new game called Mingle. The players must stand on a rotating platform while music plays. When the music stops, a number is announced. They then have a limited time to get into small rooms at the sides of the room in groups of the designated number. Any players who remain outside the rooms once the time limit is up are given a three-course dinner followed by a weekend at a luxurious spa on Jeju Island. Just kidding, they're machine-gunned to death of course.

Some alliances hold, while others are broken. Min-su (played by Lee David) betrays Se-Mi (Won-Ji-an) to stay with Thanos and his crony Nam-gyu (Roh Jae-won), and player 007 (Yang Dong-geun) briefly abandons his mother (Kang Ae-shim, who I have been unfairly describing as 'elderly' when she is actually only 61, just made up to look older like Sophia in The Golden Girls). 001 also shows his true colours by strangling another player, but 456 isn't around at the time to see it, so he still hasn't figured out that the same trick has been played on him a second time.

Once the game is over, the survivors vote, but this time it ends in a tie. The players are told that they must vote again in the morning, giving them the night to think things over. This finally leads to the PVP action 456 was afraid of, with team X (those who want to leave) fighting team O (those who want to stay) in an all out brawl. Meanwhile, Hwang Jun-ho and his team are hopefully finally on the correct island, ready to storm the place. With just one episode left that kind of interruption would make sense. We shall see...
