The critically acclaimed family show, 'Squaring the Wheel', is coming to the Ipswich Art Gallery this April for a strictly limited season.

Devised and performed by Paris-trained clown and inventor Jens Altheimer, this theatre-circus comedy show will make for perfect school holiday entertainment this Easter.

Featuring a host of quirky contraptions, 'Squaring the Wheel' combines circus skills, clowning, puppetry, magic, strange contraptions, wacky mechanisms and unexpected music in a quirky and ingenious theatrical stage extravaganza.

Take a whimsical leap into tomfoolery and see Jens perform alongside a flying broom, two ugly screaming babies, 17 balls, 34 metres of bent steel, 483 welded points and 15 marching eggs!

Unpredictable, funny, touchingly human, highly visual and occasionally out of control, 'Squaring the Wheel' is a clever theatre adventure for the whole family.

'Squaring the Wheel' plays at the Ipswich Art Gallery from Sunday, 6 April 2014 to Saturday, 19 April 2014. [No performances on Monday 7 April, Sunday 13 April or Good Friday, 18 April.]

There are 2 performances daily at 10am and 12.30pm.

Tickets cost $5 pp for all ages and bookings are essential.

(Please note several performances are already sold out and only sessions with seats still available are currently listed on the Ipswich Art Gallery website); please click here to proceed with a booking.
